Wildlife and Scenic Tours
Sitka Nautical Tours is a local veteran owned and operated business. We provide small group and private wildlife scenic boat tours of the Sitka Sound area located within the Tongass National Forest on the west side of Baranof Island, Alaska. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area and an amazing landscape to take in. Our tours offer the chances of viewing seals, sea lions, sea otters, whales, porpoises, and Sitka black tail deer. There is a wide variety of coastal and sea birds in our area including bald eagles. Alaskan Brown Bears feeding on salmon are also a common sight later in the summer (Late July - Oct.). This tour is perfect for those looking to experience the breathtaking and overwhelming scenery Sitka has to offer, so bring your camera to capture beautiful memories. We also provide custom tailored photography trips as well as water taxi services.

2.5 hr. Group Boat Tour - $190 per person (max. 6 guests)
OR
2.5 hr. Private Boat Tour - $1100 (max. 6 guests)
Tours have a 3 guest minimum (except private boat tours)

Sales are final - no refunds for no-shows or cancellations under 7 days of tour departure time. If you experience delays or issues and need to adjust your booking reservation, please call ASAP and we will try our best to accommodate. If tour is cancelled due to weather, exigent circumstances, or the 3 guest minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
